KNOW YOUR RIGHTS

If you suffered from personal injury due to defective drugs or if a loved one suffered a wrongful death, there are damages that can be recovered. No amount of money can ever compensate for the loss of a loved one. But if defective drugs were to blame for the death, it is important to make the drug company responsible. A wrongful death attorney can help you know your rights. Submit your Zoloft Claim Form now!

Zoloft Pregancy Side Effects

Recent studies comparing the levels of sertraline (Zoloft) and its principal metabolite, desmethylsertraline, in mother's blood to their concentration in umbilical cord blood at the time of delivery indicated that fetal exposure to sertraline and its metabolite is approximately a third of the maternal exposure. The use of Zoloft (sertraline) during the first trimester of pregnancy was associated with increased odds of the following birth defects: omphalocele (six-fold), anal atresia and limb reduction defects (four-fold), and septal defects (two-fold)

Other known birth defects & congenital heart defects to babies of women that take SSRI's during pregnancy include: Atrial or Ventricular Septal Defects (Holes in the Heart Wall), Heart Valve Defects, Neural Tube Defects such as Spina Bifida, PPHN, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), Transposition of Great Arteries, Coartation of the Aorta, Tetrology of Fallot (TOF), Pulmonary Stenosis, Abdominal Defects / Omphalocele and Cranial Skull Defects / Craniosynostosis.
